Meet our Pastors

Hello, we’re Howie and April, and we’re the lead pastors of Northwest Vineyard Church. We have two teenagers, and one cat. We love drinking coffee, sitting with friends, eating good food, and of course Jesus. For us, that’s where community begins, over shared stories, laughter and life together.

Before planting Northwest Vineyard, we’ve both been teaching in local West Auckland primary schools, served on staff at Urban Vineyard as Children and Families Pastors, and we’re the Children’s Ministry coordinators for Vineyard, NZ. We both love to teach, and have a heart for being around children, families, and people in general.

Looking back, we can see Gods fingerprints on our lives to prepare us for this adventure. We’re so excited for this journey, for meeting people, and something beautiful being built here - a place to pursue Jesus and play our part, big enough to reach the world, small enough to feel known and loved.
